Welcome to our website! This site is designed to give information about our instrumental music program at the Cedarbrook Middle School in Wyncote, Pennsylvania. It is also designed to assist current Cedarbrook students and parents in exchanging information with the Instrumental Music Department via the Internet.
About us:
The Cedarbrook Middle School is located just outside
of Philadelphia in Wyncote, PA. It is a seventh and eighth grade
middle school of approximately 850 students and is part of the School District
of Cheltenham Township. We currently have 217 students participating
in the Instrumental Music Program for the 1999-2000 school year.
The Concert Band has 90 students, the Band I class has 60 students and
the String Orchestra has 65 students. Each ensemble meets twice during
a six day cycle as a full ensemble and once a six day cycle in sectionals.
The Cedarbrook Stage Band rehearses on Thursday mornings before school.
The Pitz Players (the select string ensemble) meetes on Friday mornings
before school.
